Probate & Trust Administration
Probate is the court process for administering the estate of a decedent. We represent the Personal Representatives in collecting and preserving the estate assets, dealing with creditors, advising about proper tax reporting and making distributions to the beneficiaries. We also help Trustees carry out their duties if the decedent created a Trust.
Probate administration is required by law when a person dies with or without a valid last will and testament. A Probate Judge is called upon to determine how the estate will be administered and to whom the assets will be distributed.
We are experienced in the process of probate procedures and provide expeditious administration of the estate, and sensitive service in winding up the affairs of a lost loved one.
Your loved one may also have created an inter vivos (living) trust during her or his lifetime or a testamentary trust through the will. The person or institution named as trustee is responsible for administering the estate assets as instructed by the trust. We help you to effectively carry out your duties as a personal representative or trustee.
The main difference between trust administration and probate is that trust administration is not a court-supervised process. When a person dies leaving a valid trust, a trust administration becomes necessary to carry out the wishes according to provisions outlined in the trust document.
We provide legal guidance to trustees or successor trustees who must administer the estate.

Managing Attorney
Practice Focus
Attorney Bach concentrates her practice on business, corporate & commercial law as well as Probate & Trust administration. Attorney Bach serves as General Counsel, outside legal counsel, Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and legal advisor to her long-term clients. She is also a seasoned federal and state court civil litigator, representing businesses and individuals since 1997.
Ms. Bach handles Probate and Trust administration, including Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, uncontested Probate, and Probate litigation. We provide general estate and inheritance planning for estates under $10,000,000.

Ms. Bach is admitted to practice in all Florida, Washington D.C. and California state courts (Circuit, County and District Courts of Appeal) as well as the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Experience
Ms. Bach began her legal career in 1997 as a litigator at a premier labor & employment Watergate firm in Washington, D.C. Prior to establishing her private practice in Florida, Ms. Bach was associated with two of Florida’s largest and most distinguished firms, Akerman Senterfitt, and Gunster Yoakley, where she received superior training in complex corporate and commercial litigation. In 2002 she formed the Bach Law Firm, P.A. and remains the managing partner of the firm. Today, the firm’s clients range from private individuals to national and international corporations. Ms. Bach acts as legal consultant to several U.S. and foreign corporations and serves as counsel to a number of community civic and charitable organizations.
Education & Honors
Attorney Masha Bach received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations, cum laude, from the University of Southern California in 1993, and her Juris Doctor degree in 1997, summa cum laude, from Whittier Law School in California. She graduated first in her law school class.
Ms. Bach served as member and senior editor on the Law Review and was awarded the dean’s merit and academic excellence scholarships. She received six American Jurisprudence awards for highest achievement in Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Real Property, Entertainment Law, Professional Responsibility and Ethics. She also received the CALI Excellence For The Future award for highest achievement in the study of Legal Analysis.
Ms. Bach was honored by the Southern California Defense Counsel with an Outstanding Academic Achievement award presented to Ms. Bach by former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She was likewise recipient of the W.W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California.
Attorney Masha Bach attained the highest score on the Florida Bar examination in winter of 2000 and delivered an honorary speech on behalf of newly admitted attorneys at the Third District Court of Appeal induction ceremony. Ms. Bach is fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew, as well as conversational Spanish.

Attorney Berd focuses his practice exclusively on immigration law which includes family immigration, business immigration, investor visas, and deportation cases. Alex handles complex business immigration, family reunification and deportation cases for over 20 years.
During the course of Alex’s legal career in the United States, England and Israel, he has handled complex business immigration, family reunification and deportation cases and has vast experience in litigating deportation cases. Alex frequently appears in immigration courts on behalf of his clients, arguing successful cases before immigration judges.

Julia is highly proficient in office management and client support necessary to effectively run a busy law practice.
Julia has superb organization and workflow management skills and is always available to help clients with any questions, concerns or scheduling needs.
Julia received her Law Master's Degree from the Odessa Law Academy, Ukraine in 2015. She is well versed in Ukrainian civil, corporate, constitutional, and criminal laws, as well as notarial procedures.
Julia is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
SARAH WINTERS, J.D./M.A.

SARAH concentrates her practice on corporate transactions, hiring practices, contract drafting and negotiations, compliance, and regulatory audits. She is also well versed in uncontested probate case management and litigation support.
Sarah earned her Master's in Sociology from the New School for Social Research prior to attending paralegal school and law school. She has an extensive background in writing, editing, proofreading, and researching, and was already a skilled proofreader and copy editor prior to commencing her legal or paralegal studies.
Sarah received her formal paralegal training from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies before earning her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, where her studies provided her with a solid foundation in contract theory, legal research, and legal writing. Sarah's legal training serves her well in her work on contracts, litigation and corporate compliance. She applies her passion for legal writing to drafting and redlining contracts and pleadings. Her outstanding attention to detail makes every work product produced by the Firm sparkle.
Sarah's extensive paralegal experience also includes business law, probate administration, immigration, family law, and real estate transactions.
